Cooking & Baking with Honey
Honey is one of the oldest and most magical ingredients in the kitchen—complex, seasonal, and endlessly versatile. In my Cooking & Baking with Honey classes, we explore the many ways honey can transform both sweet and savory dishes while learning a bit about the bees who make it possible.

These classes can be hands-on workshops or demonstration-style gatherings, and each one is tailored to the interests, ages, and curiosity of the group. Whether you’re a group of enthusiastic home cooks, a team looking for a fun culinary experience, or a curious group of students, we’ll design something delicious together.
Past classes have included favorites like Honey Thyme Focaccia & Honey Cocktails, Chili & Cornbread with Honey Butter, Grandma’s Biscotti & Chocolate Honey Truffles, Honey Cardamom Cookies, and Gingerbread, but that’s only the beginning. Honey pairs beautifully with herbs, spices, citrus, grains, and chocolate, and each class becomes a chance to experiment, taste, and discover.
Along the way we’ll talk about:
-
how different honeys vary in flavor and color
-
how to substitute honey for sugar in baking
-
techniques for cooking and baking successfully with honey
-
and the connection between bees, flowers, and the food we love
One of my favorite parts of teaching is building a class together. If you have a theme, menu idea, seasonal ingredient, or special group in mind, I’d love to hear about it. We can create an experience that fits your kitchen, your schedule, and your curiosity.
Reach out and let’s design something sweet.
